IrvingIrving Wladawsky-Berger, Innovation Strategist. Dr. Wladawsky-Berger retired from IBM in 2009, after 37 years, and continues to consult to the company on new market strategies. Irving is a Strategic Advisor to Citigroup on technology initiatives, including mobile payments. He is a Visiting Lecturer at MIT and Adjunct Professor at the Imperial College Business School.

IrvingPhil Midland, China Expert. Mr. Midland is co-founder and President of IHS International and has deep awareness of the history, culture and political structure of East Asia. During his 23 year naval career, retiring as Captain, he held positions as Chief of Staff for Intelligence of the U.S. Seventh Fleet and as U.S. Naval Attache to the PRC. At Harvard, as a Federal Executive Fellow, he studied under Prof. Samuel Huntington.

SantanuSantanu Das, Executive/Entrepreneur. Dr. Das is the founder of Transwitch Corporation, where he served as President and CEO until 2009. Previously, he was President of Spectrum Digital Corporation and worked in various roles at ITT Corporation. He serves on numerous boards and was a Trustee of Washington University in St. Louis.

CarlotaCarlota Perez, Economic Historian. Dr. Perez is Senior Research Associate at the Centre for Financial Analysis and Policy at Cambridge Univ. and Professor of Technology and Development at the Tallinn Univ. of Technology, Estonia. She has consulted to IBM, Cisco, Ericsson and other companies and has worked for the European Union, the OECD, the World Bank as well as many other international agencies.

EricEric McLuhan, Media Theorist and Author. Dr. McLuhan is Director, Media Studies at the Harris Institute for the Arts in Toronto. Eric is the author of many books, including co-authoring "Laws of Media" with his late father, Marshall McLuhan. He is an award-winning lecturer on communication theory, media ecology and culture.

MitsuhiroMitsuhiro Takemura, Innovator/Professor. Takemura-san is Professor in the Faculty of Design at Sapporo City Univ. Previously, he has served on the faculty at Nihon Univ., Kyoto Univ. and Tokyo Univ. Mitsuhiro is known as the "father of digital Japan" and many of his students have gone onto prominent positions around the world. He is also the author of six books.

Doug SDoug Solomon, Technologist/Strategist. Dr. Solomon is a Fellow at IDEO, a design and innovation consulting firm. Previously, Doug was vice president of investments at Omidyar Network, chief strategist at both Apple and Palm and led Interval Research. He is an expert in health and wellness, mobility and social innovation.

AveryAvery Lyford, Venture Capitalist. Avery Lyford is a Partner at Blueprint Growth Ventures, where he focuses on software, green IT and cloud computing investments. He was CEO of Linuxcare and the first hire into McKinsey&Co's business building practice. Avery worked at IBM, first in PCs then as on the founding team for the xSeries servers. He is a director at several startups and is the Chair of Silicon Valley's Churchill Club.
